Maintain Oral Hygiene
Follow an oral hygiene routine that involves brushing your teeth at least twice a day and flossing once a day. This will help keep your teeth as white as your veneers and your mouth healthy enough to support your dental work.
Be Mindful When Eating
Hard, chewy, and tough foods can damage and dislodge your veneers. We recommend biting into and chewing these foods with teeth that haven’t been treated with dental veneers. Additionally, foods like tea, sauces, and berries can stain your natural teeth and make your smile less uniform. Try to minimize your intake of these foods.
Attend Routine Checkups
Routine dental checkups will help ensure that your veneers last as long as possible. A hygienist will be able to clean your mouth more thoroughly than you can at home and a dentist can catch foundational problems before they become serious. Your dentist will also let you know when it’s time to replace your veneers.
